Cruelty Free Beauty (CFB) Campaign
In March 2013, following the EU’s decision to completely ban on animal testing for cosmetic products, three major animal protection groups in Japan hosted a symposium named “Cruelty Free Beauty For Animals – Animal Testing on Cosmetics”, hoping to make Japanese cosmetics cruelty-free, too.
After the symposium, the groups formed the Japanese Coalition for Cruelty Free Beauty for Animals (CFB) so that they could continuously conduct outreach activities focusing on dialoguing with cosmetics companies.
